Adjust the light to suit your eyes and your room
Place your light pad on a table or desk. Use the included stand to prop it up at a comfortable angle if you prefer working at a tilt. Make sure it is plugged in or fully charged before you start.
Switch the light pad on and cycle through the brightness levels. Start at a medium brightness and adjust to what feels comfortable for your eyes. You do not always need the brightest setting — medium is often best for long sessions.

Never peel the entire protective film off at once. Work in small sections — about 4–6 inches at a time. This keeps the canvas sticky and prevents drills from sticking to the wrong areas.
In a bright room during the day, use a higher brightness setting. In the evening or in a darker room, turn the brightness down — the contrast between the lit canvas and the dark background makes the symbols very clear even at lower brightness.
Wipe the surface of your light pad with a soft, dry cloth to keep it clean. Fingerprints and diamond wax can build up on the surface and reduce the clarity of the light.
